M&T Expo 2024 opens registration for visitors

The event, promoted by Messe Muenchen do Brasil, with the institutional support of the Brazilian Association of Construction and Mining Technology (Sobratema), is expected to welcome around 35,000 visitors from Brazil and abroad, surpassing the mark of the 2022 edition, when it received visitors from 42 countries. The public is made up of businesspeople, purchasing decision makers, engineers and professionals from construction companies, mining companies, quarries, contractors, rental companies, the industrial sector, representatives of sectoral associations and government entities.

Buyers and visitors will be able to see a range of new products and launches from the main manufacturers of machinery and equipment for the yellow line, concrete and asphalt, handling of loads and people and the most important suppliers of components and services, such as AGF, BMC-Hyundai, Dingli, Dispetral, Escava Peças, Fênix FPS, GHT, Hangcha, Indeco, ITR, John Deere, Lintec-Ixon, Müller, Pim Palmares, Rock Brit, Romanelli, Superior, TKA Cranes, Wirtgen Group, XCMG, Yanmar, Zoomlion, among others.

In the opinion of Rolf Pickert, CEO of Messe Muenchen do Brasil, M&T Expo will be held at an important time for the market, since new concessions are expected in the area of land transport in 2024 and part of the contributions from the Growth Acceleration Program (PAC) will be applied in all areas. “It is important to remember that when it comes to infrastructure the cycle is longer, therefore, some concessions carried out in previous years may start or continue their works in 2024,” he said.

Rolf points out that the fair will also have many attractions to offer the best experience to market professionals. “In addition to the launches of the exhibiting brands, we are preparing several content and professional training activities, as well as initiatives aimed at sustainability and encouraging the qualification of manpower in equipment operation,” he says.

In this sense, the Demonstration Arena will be one of the highlights of the fair, as visitors will be able to see the exhibitor’s equipment in operation, interacting with the brands to find out more about how each machine works.

In terms of content, M&T Expo will once again host the National Congress for Valuing Rental, an initiative by the Brazilian Association of Unions and Associations Representing Equipment, Machinery and Tool Rental Companies (Analoc), which annually brings together market players to debate the most important issues related to machinery and equipment rental. There will also be the Infrastructure and Logistics Forum, the “ESG in Construction and Mining – Best practices for sustainability coupled with competitiveness” Forum, in partnership with the Conexão Mineral and Conexão Construção.

In order to contribute to the market movement to reduce polluting gas emissions, M&T Expo will feature the +Sustainable Award by M&T Expo, which will recognize and encourage responsible practices in the trade fair sector and highlight exhibitors who adopt innovative solutions.

In case of manpower qualification, which is regarded to be one of the sector’s challenges, M&T Expo Capacita will connect the market by offering incentives with discounts for training operators and supervisors to meet the various demands for qualified professionals in the sector. The initiative is in partnership with 3X Mais Treinamentos, APELMAT and Instituto Opus.

A novelty will be the offering of free Machine Operator Course during the event, in partnership with the São Paulo Association of Earthmoving, Compressed Air, Hydraulic and Civil Construction Equipment Contractors and Rental Companies (APELMAT). There will be two classes with theoretical and practical hands-on lessons and they will receive an NR12 certificate on completion.

Another new attraction is the Brazilian Heavy Machinery Museum, an area exclusively dedicated to exhibiting old equipment and machines that were part of the country construction, with free access and with the purpose of rescuing and valuing the history of these machines that have already been part of the M&T Expo and the trajectory of Brazil.

In order to promote the construction machinery market throughout Brazil, and make the trade fair known to a segmented audience in various regions of the country, M&T Expo has invested in the 365 Project, which has already been to the States of São Paulo, Minas Gerais, Bahia, Paraná, Pará and Rio Grande do Sul, with the aim of stimulating the interaction between buyers and companies. The User is entitled to obtain from MESSE MUENCHEN DO BRASIL, in relation to the data processed by it, at any time and upon request: I – confirmation of the existence of processing; II – access to data; III – correction of incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated data; IV – anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary, excessive or processed data in breach of the provisions of Act 13,709; V – data portability to another service or product supplier, upon express request and in compliance with commercial and industrial confidentiality, in accordance with the regulation of the controlling agency; V – data portability to another service or product provider, upon express request, in accordance with the regulations of the national authority, in compliance with commercial and industrial confidentiality; VI – deletion of personal data processed with the consent of the holder, except in the cases provided in Article 16 of Act 13,709; VII – information on public and private entities with which the controller has shared the data; VIII – information on the possibility of not providing consent and on the consequences of denial; IX – revocation of consent, pursuant to section 5 of Article 8 of Act 13,709 of 2018, General Data Protection Act (LGPD).

10 - TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE OF THE PLATAFORM

The following terms apply to online ticket purchases and sale contracts between MESSE MUENCHEN DO BRASIL FEIRAS LTDA. and its customers. In this context, the exclusive business terms and purchase and sale terms of customers are excluded. Any changes to the terms of purchase and negotiations shall only be valid if confirmed in writing by MESSE.

10.1 Agreement execution

The offer presented to the customer, whether in exhibition agreements or ticket orders, shall be binding and shall occur upon submission of the purchase order, pursuant to Article 427 of the Civil Code. The agreement shall be executed upon receipt of payment by MESSE MUENCHEN DO BRASIL, the customer waiving their right to receive an express acceptance of their order.

A copy of the agreement shall be provided to the customer upon completion of the order, and the instrument can be consulted at any time.

10.2 Compliance with the agreement by customer

Ticket prices displayed on our website at the time of the order shall be the definitive prices. Payment must be made immediately to the third-party payment service provider upon execution of the agreement and may be made by bank transfer, credit card or direct debit to your account. MESSE MUENCHEN DO BRASIL shall accept the brands listed on the website, subject to the rules of the third-party payment service provider. The performance of the agreement shall not be carried out until Messe effectively receives the amounts payable.

10.3 Compliance with the agreement by MESSE MUENCHEN DO BRASIL FEIRAS LTDA.

The customer shall receive an email containing the ticket for printing. Access to the respective event shall be possible only upon presentation of the ticket. After purchase, tickets are non-refundable, subject to the rules of the third-party payment service provider. Regarding agreements with exhibitors, an email shall be sent for confirming and hiring the services.

10.4 Cancellation of the Agreement by the customer

The cancellation of transactions may be carried out within seven (7) days after the purchase, without justification, due to the exercise of the right of repentance, by informing MESSE MUENCHEN DO BRASIL of your desire to exercise your waiver rights through the communication channel available on the portal. The term shall be counted as from receipt, by MESSE, of the amount due as a result of the purchase, subject to the rules of the third-party payment service provider.

In the event of cancellation of the transaction and refund of payment, tickets shall be canceled and entry into the event shall not be allowed. The amounts paid shall be fully returned within a maximum period of seven (7) days, subject to the rules of the third-party payment service provider.

10.5 Liability

MESSE MUENCHEN DO BRASIL shall be liable for any breach of contract or damage caused by malfeasance or gross negligence in the negotiations. In situations of minor fault, MESSE MUENCHEN DO BRASIL shall be liable only in case of breach of major contractual obligations, in particular the core obligations of the agreement.

MESSE MUENCHEN DO BRASIL shall not be held liable for damages resulting from the exclusive fault of the customers, as well as for damages resulting from death, physical injuries or health issues caused by breach of the obligations by the customer or its agent or legal representative.

10.6 Communication

MESSE shall provide its customers with an effective communication channel through its website, on which users’ demands can be serviced. Requests and requests for clarification shall be answered within a maximum period of five (5) days.

10.7 Jurisdiction

The rules of Brazilian law shall apply, in particular of the Civil Code, except in the case of an express contractual clause that chooses a foreign jurisdiction.

Furthermore, the laws of other states shall be promptly waived.
