M&T Expo 2024 will connect construction and mining machine and equipment exhibitors and buyers

Construction machine and equipment market has positive perspectives for the next years, after yellow line machine sale record achieved in 2022. According to Sobratema Brazilian Construction Equipment Market Survey, 39.9 thousand yellow line (cargo moving) pieces of equipment were marketed. Such amount exceeds in 19.6% the best year achieved in the field, in 2013, when more than 33,4 thousand machines were sold.

For 2023, Brazilian Association of Technology for Construction and Mining (Sobratema) report foresees 4% increase in yellow line sales, and 4% for all construction equipment field. The Survey has also performed an inquiry with construction and rental companies about machine market for 2024, and 59% of interviewees expect field growth.

Within such background, Messe Muenchen do Brasil prepares 12th edition of M&T Expo, Latin America´s largest construction and mining machine and equipment trade show, that will be held from April 23 to 26, 2024, at São Paulo Expo.

The event presents a unique and unprecedented opportunity to do business, find new partners and new relationships, as it gathers, within an exclusive and optimal space, highly qualified visitors from Brazil and overseas, as they are eager to learn about the latest and more technological features in equipment, component and service area. It includes construction companies, rental companies, quarries, mining companies, industries, transporting companies, investors, municipality and public agency agents, among others. In 2022 edition, there were more than 31 thousand national and international visitors.

Organized in four sectors, M&T Expo provides greater visibility to exhibitors, as it enables them to be found by buyers and customers, that can be establish visiting routs, in order to seize the most of event four days. Sectors include:

Construction and mining equipment: Machinery and equipment used in construction and mining works, infrastructure works, handling, compaction, earthmoving, foundation, drilling, crushing, demolition and so on.  

Concrete and Asphalt: Equipment applied at production, transportation and pumping, including concrete and asphalt plants, pumps, crushers, sieves, conveyor belts, pouring, asphalt compacting, highway paving, pavement milling and recycling. 

Load and people lifting: Equipment used in lifting operations (rigging), load and people moving, used in construction works, mining, industries, ports, airports and logistic centers.  

Components and services: Components and parts used for replacing the old ones due to wear, repair, or maintenance of construction and mining machinery and equipment. In addition to other services such as training, management, telemetry, software, and so on.   

What is more, M&T Expo 2024 edition will have again Demonstration Arena, a space designed so that exhibitors present their equipment innovations live, simulation use conditions to visitors. That will enable that buyers learn about all equipment potential and features.

A trade show feature is connecting exhibitors and visitors 365 days a year. Through Project 365, M&T Expo will hold several meetings, supported by partner entities, to foster interaction between purchasers and companies. And this contact will not take place only in São Paulo, but all over Brazil and Latin America, as Road Shows are held in cities and countries, providing an opportunity to relate with different audiences and opening new business.

Furthermore, M&T Expo also relies on Business Shop Window, an on-line tool that connects visitors in every moment, before, during and after the trade show. The audience can find products and have contact with exhibitors.

The environmental concern is also included in M&T Expo agenda, through ESG initiatives, so that environmental impacts related to trade show performance are mitigated. The event promotes selective waste collection, uses renewable power and reuse water, and executes actions for carbon emission neutralization.

M&T Expo 2024 will highlight construction and mining equipment market relevance concerning the country economic and social development. In 2022, it had more than 600 exhibiting brands in 54 thousand square meters. In the content part, there were 192 hours of programming, and participation of 52 lecturers and experts.
